Visioneer International Academy was founded by an educator who has lived on both sides of the world. Raised in China, educated in the United States — with a background spanning liberal arts, human-computer interaction design, and Silicon Valley product work — our founder returned to China with a single observation: the field of international education was growing fast, but the professionals working in it had no shared framework, no credentialing standard, and no common language for their practice.

远见家国际教育由一位横跨两个世界的教育者创立。在中国成长,在美国接受高等教育——拥有跨越文科、人机交互设计与硅谷产品工作的复合背景——我们的创始人带着一个深刻的观察回到中国:国际教育领域发展迅猛,但从业者缺乏共同的框架、认证标准和实践共识。

The CIEG™ framework was developed to answer that gap. Inspired by the model that ICF built for professional coaching — a field that also once lacked standards and grew rapidly — Visioneer set out to create the equivalent professional infrastructure for international education: a rigorous, portable, cross-cultural competency system that works whether you are a teacher, a counselor, or a program director.

The International Coaching Federation set the gold standard for professional coaching by building a rigorous competency model, an explicit code of ethics, and a credentialing system that is recognizable globally. Before ICF, anyone could call themselves a coach. After it, the credential meant something.

Visioneer International Academy is building that same infrastructure for international education practitioners in China. CIEG™ is not modeled on ICF — it is inspired by the same insight: a field earns professional respect when it can articulate, measure, and certify what expertise actually looks like.
